2/20 Elvis is in Osaka,Japan!

Elvis did not come to today's practice .Neither did Emanuel nor Ben.
Todd and Takeshi,either.
It was just announced "Not Arrived" They did not play Elvis' music at all. (according to Misa's report)

Elvis and Uschi were seen walking together. Later I saw Uschi and Mrs.Stojko.
They seemed relaxed.(according to Mami's report)

Elvis came to 2nd day's practice which started around at 10:15. Ahead of Men's practice, Ice Dance free practice was scheduled,and he watched Canadian teams.(Sorry, Mami does not mentioned which one of them. Dubreuil&Lauzon? Wing&Lowe? Piche&Denis?)
Of course Uschi and Mrs.Stojko was near him.
He was in the first group. 3 Korean skaters(Kyu-Hyun LEE, Joon-Ho PARK Yun-ki JIN) had the honor of skating with Elvis. There were 4 of them on the ice. I asked Mami what his outfit looked like. (It is very important for us, isn't it? ) At first he wore GRAY warmly jacket and black pants which had small maple leaf at the bottom part.(his skating boots as well so that everyone in Japan can see he is from CANADA. Hey! Elvis! You are a great Sports Ambassador! It works!)
After he warmed enough, he took off his jacket. Underneath he was wearing Black long-sleeve sweat shirt. After for a while he peeled his shirt and this time white T-shirt saying "MSR. MISS RACING".

He was doing steps and spins (so fast!) and everyone was waiting for him to jump. He did triple toe/double toe, triple loop, triple axel/triple toe.
His music was played."The Mummy" He missed his quad during his run through but other jumps looked great.
He practiced his quads again and again but somehow he did not hit today. At the end he did spins/arabian/spins , he slowed his last spins in funny way to make audience laugh. Mami went with her friend who was not a skating fan but she fell in love with our Elvis at first sight. It is a very NATURAL thing.(Thanks Mami for your information)

I started with his fashion today. He wore the GRAY jacket,black turtle shirt, and sleeveless dark blue overall- style pants with a white T-shirt.
During today's practice, he brought most of his energies to jumps. He was doing triple axels and triple toes over and over. After every jump, he came up to Uschi and then he repeated the same jumps no less than 10 times.
Mami mentioned it's partly because it was freeze to death inside of that building and the ice appeared too hard for skaters.

When he finished his practice, Elvis noticed a fan was trying to take his pictures. He was generous enough to pose for pictures.

Mami told me a cute story. I am sure you'll like it.
There were few fans watching today, so they felt the skaters so close.
She was looking at Elvis by using a binoculars although Elvis was within easy reach of her. She tried to read the letters (logo) on his gloves as she was asked to watch every moves he made by me. (Mami! I really appreciate your contribution, Thank you!).
The way of her careful observation caught his attention. He must have thought "Hey! What are you looking at about me?" He mimed( his expertise!) and looked back at her as if he had used binoculars by his hands. You can easily imagine it made her so happy.

One last pop quiz: What does his gloves say? --- Master Card.

P.S. Mami is a great fan of Todd. Her mail ended like this "Todd did land his quad so beautifully today"

It's gonna be a great competition.

Later I found out that he chose to watch the pairs short programs.

Misa went to the practice today and told me everything. (Thank you, Misa!)

Elvis was among the second group and was the first to arrive the rink. While his warm up, Uschi and Mrs.Stojko was chatting cheerfully. After a while, Elvis joined them and started talking.
Before I forget, Today's his outfit, Misa says "same as yesterday".
He started with the straight line steps. Misa says" He is so different from other skaters." Indeed it is grossly unfair to compare Korean skaters with Elvis. Because He is ELVIS. Misa was so impressed with his spins. Extremely smooth. His spin makes no noise on the ice. Amazing..
As for jumps, He did triple loop (with no difficulty). triple axel/double toe. He came back to Uschi after he tried quads.
He blew his nose many times. Wonder if he has a cold. Hope not!

When Emanuel's number(a classical one) was played, Uschi waved her hand as if she were a conductor, which made Elvis smile.

His run through was the last. Misa says he adds now edge work at near the end of his program. He did not finish his whole program and he leaned over the fence and talked and talked with Uschi. He was the last one to leave the ice.
